Description of contents: The ACV is an accurate English translation of the majority text Greek New Testament manuscripts. It was translated as literally as possible without making it unreadable in the English language. It contains no disguised commentary or alterations to accommodate for popular ideas. It does retain the classic English personal pronouns, such as ye and thee, because they are more informative and faithful to the Greek than the ambiguous word you. You can read the book of Matthew here to see how it compares with other versions. You can find more information about the ACV on the website www.stillvoices.org.

King Solomon's Advice to the world
Copyright © 2005
Author: Dr. Walter L. Porter, Ph.D.
ISBN: 0-9755777-1-9

About this book:
 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 / 226 pages of 11 point main text + cover
Smythe sewn case bound with printed cover
Cover is 4 color process with matte film laminate
Text printed on 50# white offset

Description of contents: This book is based upon Solomon’s books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon. The book was written to help show how Solomon’s wisdom is relevant for living in any generation. It is primarily a topical analysis. Verses, parts of verses, and series of verses are quoted as often as they were seen relevant to each topic. After compiling various topics, they were then compared, subdivided, and integrated in an effort to uncover their latent patterns and interrelationships. The table of contents gives an overview of how extensive are the topics of Solomon’s wisdom that God preserved for us in the Holy Bible.

A Description of the Book from Heaven
Copyright © 2005
Author: Dr. Walter L. Porter, Ph.D.
ISBN: 0-9755777-2-7

About this book:
 8 x 10 / 420 pages of 11 point main text + cover
Smythe sewn case bound with printed cover
Cover is 4 color process with matte film laminate
Text printed on 50# white offset

Description of contents: The Bible contains over 783,000 words. This description of it contains about 345,000 words, which represents forty-four percent of the Bible. This description was written to help reveal what is in the Bible without having to read all of it, which is a formidable task. It also provides many explanations as well as plain descriptions. It is a good introduction for those not familiar with the Bible, as well as a good review for those who are. It includes all of the major events and topics in that holy book. Of course, much is condensed. Nevertheless, most of what is in the Bible is described, and hopefully it will encourage you to want to study the Bible itself. The Bible is the greatest of all books, having been written by Almighty God through the hands of his prophets.

A Description of the BOOK From HEAVEN (Condensed Edition)
Copyright © 2005
Author: Dr. Walter L. Porter, Ph.D.
ISBN: 0-9755777-3-5

About this book:
 6 x 9 / 301 pages of 12 point main text + cover
Smythe sewn case bound with printed cover
Cover is 4 color process with matte film laminate
Text printed on 50# white offset

Description of contents: The Bible contains over 783,000 words. This brief description of it contains about 123,000 words, which represents less than sixteen percent of the Bible. Nevertheless, I tried to include all of the major events and topics. Of course, I had to condense much of what it says and only give the gist. Also I omitted much of the detail, such as long lists of names, as well as some lesser events. Out of necessity I had to make many judgments about what to exclude. Therefore, you must keep in mind that this is just a simple description of what is in the Bible. Yet it will give you a good acquaintance with it. And once you become acquainted, I hope you will want to know more about that greatest of all books—the word of God.

Selected Scriptures from the Holy Bible Readings for the Young Volume I: The Pentateuch
Copyright © 2005
Author: Genelle H. Porter, B.A, M.Ed.
ISBN: 0-9755777-4-3

About this book:
 7 x 10 / 191 pages of 14 point main text + cover
The large text makes the scriptures much easier to read
Smythe sewn case bound with printed cover
Cover is 4 color process with matte film laminate
Text printed on 60# white offset

Description of contents: The purpose of this compilation is to provide children with actual Bible text from some of the more interesting passages rather than simplified paraphrases. When children read a Bible, or have it read to them, it is important that the power and beauty of the word of God be retained. Simplified wording is sometimes appropriate for explanations about the scriptures, but not the Bible itself. Too often paraphrases mislead, and even demean the sacred text. It is important that children develop early an interest in, and an understanding of, the written word. Moreover, adults and children alike are blessed by time spent reading together. That is especially true when the time is spent sharing the Holy Bible. Also, by gaining familiarity with the passages in this compilation children as well as adults can more easily begin reading the scriptures independently.

The Law of God Before and After Christ
Copyright © 2006
Author: Dr. Walter L. Porter, Ph.D.
ISBN: 0-9755777-9-4

About this book:
 7 x 9 / 545 pages of 11 point main text + cover
Smythe sewn case bound with gold embossed Arrestox cover
Text printed on 50# white offset

Description of contents: This book first describes what God’s righteousness is, and how law and justice are a part of it. It also describes law and justice, and shows how the moral laws of God are as important to us as his laws of nature. It contains every law of Moses as given in each of the books of law in the Old Testment. It then provides a topical analysis of those laws with commentary about them, and their relevance to the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. It also describes what the New Testament says about law, and explains the relationship of law with faith. It concludes with a chapter about the possibility of creating a nation of God based upon his laws. You can read the introduction of the book and the first chapter about laws in Genesis here.

Becoming Sons of God for Eternity
Copyright © 2008
Author: Dr. Walter L. Porter, Ph.D.
ISBN: 978-0-9755777-6-9

About this book:
 6 x 9 / 386 pages of 11 point main text + cover
Smythe sewn case bound with gold embossed Arrestox cover
Text printed on 50# white offset

Description of contents: This book is a very philosophical analysis of God and man. It describes the nature of God and of other things spiritual, and how they interact with our material world. It describes what God did before time began, and why he created our world in addition to the one in heaven where he resides. It explains how our world is part of a great super-cosmic war between the forces of good and evil. And it explains how we become qualified to be God’s sons for eternity by joining God in that great conflict. The last half of the book is an analysis of Revelation, where God explains many things about our world and the one of heaven. It also describes what the great day of judgment will be like, and how magnificent will be the new Jerusalem where all of the sons of God will live with him for eternity.
